Job title: Quality Engineer (AQP/APQP)
About the Role You will help ensure our products meet the high-quality expectations of major Japanese OEMs and tier suppliers—from the early development stages through mass production. You’ll work closely with global Molex teams and suppliers to build quality into the product, overseeing quality across all phases to support customer satisfaction and reduce quality risks.
What You'll Do
- Lead AQP/APQP Activities: Drive quality planning (APQP) from product development through mass production; define quality requirements and integrate them into control plans, PFMEAs, and process design
- Partner in Customer Quality Support (Voice of the Customer): Serve as the quality liaison for automakers and tier suppliers; join customer technical and quality reviews, ensuring required specifications are applied internally
- Quality Assurance for Prototypes & Pre Production: Handle sample quality checks and preparation of customer submission documents; collaborate with global Molex plants and suppliers to analyze root causes and develop countermeasures for defects
What We're Looking For
- Written and verbal English communication skills to facilitate team meetings with global members
- Technological or scientific background
- Logical thinking
- Japanese: Native level; English: Advanced level

- Experience as a quality engineer (AQP engineer)
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of automotive electronics components
- Quality audit methodology knowledge and experience
- International assignment / overseas work experience
- Experience working with Japanese OEMs in the automotive field
