Job title: Quality Coordinator
About the Role The Quality Coordinator will support and monitor quality processes within Lear's automotive production environment, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards such as IATF 16949 and VDA. The role collaborates with production, engineering and customer teams to maintain product conformity and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the proper function of the manufacturing process according to the quality standards.
- Supervise the products quality and materials.
- Supervise the implementation of customer requirements and monitor their fulfillment.
- Handle customer complaints, presenting an 8D report to the customer based on 5 whys analysis and Ishikawa.
- Apply CORE Tools (APQP, MSA, SPC, Control Plan, FMEA, PPAP).
- Carry out the part approval process (PPAP) according to VDA2 and AIAG norms.
- Report and supervise KPIs and activities to drive improvement of key indicators.
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork competences.
- Maintain order and tidiness at the workplace in accordance with the 5S principles.
- Experience in team management.
- Understand applicable IATF 16949 requirements and VDA 6.3 process audit.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree.
- More than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar position.
- Mastery of Quality Core Tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, 19011.
- SAP knowledge or a similar ERP system is appreciated.
- Proficiency with Office tools (Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and good analytical vision.
- Language skills: good communication in French and English.
