About the Role

The Quality Assurance Associate performs activities associated with quality control of meals. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our meals in accordance with our HACCP and FDA standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor correct meal plating layout.
• Conduct audits to ensure correct weight of meals and their components.
• Keep a record of the quantity of meals checked and sent to the sealing area.
• Keep the management team updated regarding real-time handovers.
• Update the tracking system with current photos of the meals.
• Identify deviations regarding meal contamination and inform the chefs.
• Actively collaborate with the sealing department to resolve meal-related issues.
• End-of-shift report highlighting any shortages from the production line.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a cold environment (prep area maintained at 35°F).
• Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance.
• Ability to push and pull up to 200 lbs.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Bilingual with English and Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Intermediate computer skills required; excel, google suit.

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position

$19—$19 USD
