Quality Control Team Leader Orbia Precision Agriculture Netafim Operations Kibbutz Yiftah, Israel Onsite
Main tasks
- Responsibility for product quality and inspection processes in two departments, from receipt of raw materials to final product release
- Manage a team of quality assembly inspectors
- Initiate, lead and implement continuous quality improvement processes in the departments
Role framework
- Respond to customer complaints including investigation, corrective action and customer reply
Authority
- Full and correct execution of all quality tests and processes required in the automated assembly department and water plant
- Responsibility for product quality - release, hold and reject
- Prioritize work between departments and machines in coordination with planning departments
- Responsibility for leak tests in the tubing assembly as part of template calibration
- Responsibility for keeping procedures up to date and records retention
- Reporting and product hold according to escalation ladder
- Work in accordance with quality, safety and environmental policies and standards
- Responsibility to report safety non-conformities, prevent hazards and dangerous activities
- Responsibility for waste separation, contamination prevention and reporting deviations
- Authority to stop dangerous or polluting activities
Requirements
- Academic or engineering degree - mandatory
- Familiarity and experience with quality and ISO 9001 standard - mandatory
- Prior managerial experience – a plus
- Office high level - mandatory, MES knowledge – a plus
- Languages: Hebrew - reading and writing - mandatory, English – good level
