Section: About the Role VampAI is seeking a Quality Control Officer to inspect fabrics, garment components and finished outfits, ensuring they meet the quality, fit, finishing and craftsmanship standards of a luxury fashion brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming fabrics, embellishments and garment materials for defects.
- Conduct quality checks throughout production, including cutting, stitching and assembly.
- Inspect finished bridal gowns, bespoke outfits and ready-to-wear garments.
- Verify fit, finishing and detailing before approving items for presentation or dispatch.
- Support quality checks during client fittings and alterations.
- Maintain inspection records and track recurring defects.
- Work with tailors, pattern cutters and production teams to improve quality standards.
Requirements
- Diploma, HND or degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, Textile Technology or a related field.
- 2–4 years' experience in quality control within fashion, garment manufacturing, bridal couture or bespoke tailoring.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching, fitting and finishing.
- Experience inspecting luxury fabrics, embellishments and delicate materials.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical and communication skills.
