Quality Control Manager

About the Role Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee day-to-day quality control, safety, and field operations on construction projects primarily at U.S. military and CBP installations along the Gulf Coast. The QCM will serve as on-site liaison to Government representatives, supervise subcontractors, and ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules and budgets. This role reports to the Project Manager and may involve travel to project sites as needed. What You'll Do

• Perform Quality Control inspections to ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Maintain and track quality control deficiency logs and corrective actions through completion.
• Review, package, and submit construction submittals.
• Conduct pre-final inspections, develop punch lists, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected.
• Coordinate and conduct final inspections with Government contracting officials and engineering personnel.
• Maintain photo documentation of work progress and installed conditions.
• Manage project closeout activities, including warranties, in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily reports.
• Manage subcontractor badging and base access processes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation in Procore, Kahua, RMS, ECMS, SharePoint, and other required platforms.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, audits, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free job site.
• Provide professional, courteous communication with Government officials, subcontractors, coworkers, and the public.
• Participate in pre-construction process, i.e., review scopes and assist in buy-out of subcontractors, develop site-specific and safety preconstruction plans, and existing conditions site investigations.
• Perform pre-bid site walks and provide feedback to the estimating team.

• Proven experience managing quality control and field construction operations, preferably on government or military or CBP-related projects.
• Ability to coordinate on-site QC, safety, and compliance with contract documents, safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.
• Strong communication and collaboration with Government officials, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Proficiency with construction documentation and PM tools (Procore, Kahua, RMS, ECMS, SharePoint).
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required and to work extended hours as needed.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a field-based environment and maintain professionalism. Nice to Have
• Experience with U.S. military or CBP installations is a plus.
• Experience with government contracting processes and/or construction management platforms. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
