Job title: Quality Control Inspector
About the Role The Quality Control Inspector will ensure products and assembly processes comply with internal QM standards and control plans. You will perform checks, record data, identify non-conformities, and support containment and rework to maintain quality on the assembly line.
What You'll Do
- Inspect products in line with internal QM standards and control plans
- Accomplish specific tasks within the Assembly area
- Perform all checks as defined in the Quality control plan and record the required data
- Identify non-conforming products with "red card" process
- Distribute and collect PDEK or other control charts
- Give feedback to line and to WPA for all non-conformities found on the assembly line by using the stop at first defect process
- Inspect 5S / housekeeping application within the area of responsibility
- Identify areas of product risk e.g. material on the floor, terminals damaged, bent within holders, stands, mixed components
- Check that operators are qualified to work on the station in line with the skills matrix
- Check adherence to OK to Start procedure at the start of each shift
- Perform check of error proofing conformity within the assembly area
- Verify that assembly aid tools are available and used in proper condition
- Validate the completion of the packing process and conformity according to work instructions
- Ensure that in-line and off-line reworks are performed by qualified operators with released tools and respecting rework procedures
- Inspect if documentation in workstation according to control plan and internal standards is followed
- Audit final harness inspection in accordance with the QM plan and/or additional care points
What We're Looking For
- Education and Experience: University degree or Bac+3 with 1 year experience or minimum of 3rd Secondary high school level with 5 years of Experience
- Languages: French, English
