Quality Control Coordinator (Hook Up)

About the Role Saipem seeks a Quality Control Coordinator to support the implementation of the Project Quality Management System on the NORTRAN TEMIS project. The role partners with the Project Quality Manager and Quality Control Manager to supervise QC activities and acts as the project focal point for quality-related matters, liaising with external entities.

What You'll Do

• Support the Project Quality Manager and Quality Control Manager in defining the Project Quality Control System and identifying required project quality control plans and QC procedures in accordance with the Company Quality Management System.
• Help plan and allocate QC Supervisors, Inspectors, and vessel PTS manpower across project areas, ensuring coordination of assigned personnel.
• Review Quality Control Plans, verify tests, controls and inspections are performed per QCP/ITP, and confirm personnel access to necessary project documentation.
• On board vessels, ensure QCP/QC compliance with the reference vessel and its operational profile.
• Identify any QC Inspection Instrument/Equipment missing on board relative to applicable QC Plan, Procedures and Contract requirements.
• Check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, and agree on operating procedures with the works organization.
• On board vessels, before demobilization, perform QC Equipment inventory, identify anomalies and report to the Project Quality Manager.
• Ensure correct project materials storage, handling, traceability and preservation conditions, and conformity to applicable requirements.
• Act as the focal point for QC inspections on specific vessels and liaise with external entities; support VMT in front of Client regarding any quality-related contractual matters.
