Job title: Quality Auditor - Components & Fixturing
About the Role The role is responsible for auditing component quality and ensuring the availability of tooling and fixtures to support pattern and gating operations in the wax molding process. The position also maintains inventory control to confirm fixturing components are readily available and ensures wax dies and components are available at molding machines to keep production moving smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Audit Component Quality: verify wax gating and wax weld components against standards as they move from molding to cleaning to assembly to assure product quality.
- Manage Inventory: maintain and control physical inventory to ensure fixturing components required for efficient pattern and gating operations are readily available.
- Ensure Readiness at Machines: insure wax dies and components are available at molding machines.
- Support Production: collaborate with molding, gating and assembly steps to move patterns to completion.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in auditing component quality and familiarity with wax gating and wax weld components.
- Ability to manage inventory and ensure parts availability for pattern and gating operations.
- Understanding of molding processes and the role of fixturing and wax dies in production.
- Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.
