Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer / Shift Quality Supervisor to oversee quality control activities across flexible packaging production processes.
- The successful candidate will ensure that raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
- The ideal candidate must have practical experience in flexible packaging manufacturing, particularly in printing, lamination, slitting, pouch making, and laboratory testing.
- The role also involves identifying production defects, implementing corrective actions, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with approved procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- B.Sc., HND, B.Tech., M.Sc., or a relevant diploma in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Packaging Technology, Printing Technology, or another related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the flexible packaging or packaging manufacturing industry.
- Practical knowledge of printing, lamination, slitting, and pouch-making operations.
- Experience in laboratory testing and quality inspection of flexible packaging materials.
- Familiarity with NCR documentation, root cause analysis, CAPA, and customer quality requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant packaging quality standards, SOPs, and process control procedures.
- Good analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with production teams and manage quality activities during assigned shifts.
