Job title: Quality Assurance Lead
About the Role Lead a team to perform end-to-end quality assurance by analyzing in-house operations and customer data to implement preventive measures for non-conformances. Drive continuous improvement to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction, turning quality into a competitive advantage. This role requires hands-on leadership and strong problem-solving to deploy effective quality programs.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team to deliver end-to-end quality assurance by analysing in-house operations and customer data to set preventive actions on non-conformances.
- Manage Internal Quality Non-Conformances: define causes in intake and filtering, coordinate with Corporate Quality Team on customer expectations, and ensure timely and high-quality closure of non-conformances including preventive actions.
- Setup and maintain a Customer Quality Dashboard; align with customers on critical indexes.
- Assist local management by proposing process improvements and deployment of new and improved processes.
- Initiate, drive and track improvements on the execution of critical processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Drive resolution of structural quality issues within corporate programs.
- Manage well-structured inspection plans and collaborate with cross functions to improve tests and assembly processes.
- Lead and drive quality assurance metrics to targets, including management of contract manufacturers.
- Provide hands-on guidance to the team through problem-solving methodology to close non-conformances.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated proven track record to drive problem-solving methodology.
- Preferably over 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across the organization and drive changes.
- Familiar with operational excellence tools such as Lean manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, problem solving, Six Sigma, etc.
- Professional experience in Capital Equipment building, preferably in the Semiconductor industry.
- Trained in Green Belt problem-solving methodology (minimum).
- Soft skills: analytical thinking; strong written, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; self-driven and independent.
