Job title: Quality Assurance Improvement Assistant Manager
About the Role The Quality Assurance Improvement Assistant Manager will lead and implement quality assurance processes to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize quality costs in Hyundai's automotive operations. This role focuses on audits, training, supplier and service-team collaboration, and data-driven continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize quality costs.
- Monitor and analyze customer complaints and develop action plans to address identified issues.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure quality assurance is incorporated into all aspects of service delivery.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to develop and implement cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Lead supplier factory inspections and part analysis to identify quality issues and drive improvements.
- As quality engineer collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified quality issues.
- Visit dealerships to investigate and identify specific instance of customer complaints and work to identify root causes as quality engineer.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and KPIs to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Checks the field’s TSB and creates its own TSB once the field campaign is determined.
What We're Looking For
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of automotive industry quality standards and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Preferred: Experience leading related departments to carry out projects.
- Travel Requirement: Domestic / International travel required.
