Job title: Quality Assurance Engineer, Sr
About the Role Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Exlar team. You will design, implement and maintain QA protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products and ensure compliance with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards for worldwide distribution.
What You'll Do
- Develops, applies and revises quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
- Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, dispositions and implements corrective action as needed.
- May interface with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.
- Participates in audits.
- Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed.
- May prepare and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.
- Design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.
- Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
What We're Looking For
- Four-year degree, or a two-year associates degree with previous quality engineering experience.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action (CAPA).
- Knowledge of manufacturing and testing practices for mechanical and electrical equipment.
- May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 to $110,000 per year.
