About the Role NeoXam is strengthening its QA team to ensure high-quality PMS offerings and is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to help grow automated testing capabilities and maintain robust software in a finance-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the setup of an automated test framework integrated into the build cycle, ideally in a complex n-tier environment where performance and robustness are essential.
- Analyze thread dumps, heap dumps and GC logs, and conduct methodical investigations after crashes or performance degradation (OutOfMemoryError, memory leaks, deadlock, contention).
- Perform studies and clearly share conclusions with the team.
- When problems occur, perform first-level analysis and challenge the development teams.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Computer Science (BAC +5)
- 4 to 5 years of experience in technical QA with strong automation focus
- Proficiency with Playwright, Gherkin, TypeScript and REST APIs (Java back-end)
- Strong knowledge of the Java ecosystem (JVM, garbage collector, profiling) and diagnostic tools (JFR/Java Flight Recorder, jstack)
- Comfortable with OS Linux, databases (SGBD), Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions and SDLC practices, Java and TypeScript
Nice to Have
- Experience in software development or software architecture is a plus
