Job title: Quality Assurance Engineer
About the Role We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure product quality across web, mobile, and API layers in an Agile environment. You will advocate for the end-user, collaborate with product and design teams, and design and execute comprehensive functional tests to deliver measurable business value.
What You'll Do
- Advocate for end-user value by aligning testing with business goals, user needs, and product value.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to refine requirements for clarity, testability, and alignment with user and business goals.
- Design and conduct functional tests at E2E, integration, web, and mobile levels.
- Report incidents, risks, and improvements; maintain testing documentation and metrics.
- Estimate and plan testing tasks; develop test strategy and reports.
- Conduct demos for clients; review and enhance the development process.
- Promote an agile mindset within the team and contribute to the QA/testing department.
- Take responsibility for tasks contributing to objectives and propose new techniques and improvements.
- Innovate and continuously improve testing practices to positively impact product quality.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in manually executing functional tests in agile contexts.
- Proficiency with various test design techniques and ability to create tests for E2E, integration, web, and mobile.
- Intermediate API testing (theory and practice) and experience with database testing using SQL.
- Familiarity with context-driven, risk-based, exploratory testing, and test scenarios.
- Experience testing in agile contexts and Scrum framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing AI-based applications.
- Payments/Subscriptions testing including Stripe and Mobile IAP platforms (Apple and Google).
- HealthTech industry experience and/or compliance testing (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Programming skills and knowledge/experience with automation testing with Playwright or similar tools.
- Experience in non-functional testing (performance, accessibility, security).
