Quality Assurance Engineer - Electronics

• We are on the hunt for a Quality Assurance Engineer - electronics on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Role:

• The position consists of developing, implementing, maintaining and improving quality assurance processes to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Participate in product design by reviewing drawings and engineering change notices;
• Ensure compliance with specifications by reviewing and approving work instructions, processes and inspection points on production orders. Provide interpretations of acceptance criteria and optimize the control plan;
• Coordinate problem resolution and corrective action upon detection of non-conformances with purchasing, production, design and other engineering disciplines;
• Conduct process and product compliance audits both internally and at suppliers. Ensure effective corrective actions;
