About the Role
Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality across multiple user roles and workflows. The role involves designing and implementing UI automation with Playwright, ensuring test coverage is reliable, maintainable, and aligned with release objectives. You will lead test automation initiatives and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using relevant testing frameworks to validate application functionality across multiple user roles and workflows.
- Design and implement UI automation using tools such as Playwright, ensuring automated test coverage is reliable, maintainable, and aligned with release objectives.
- Lead test automation initiatives, including the integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
- Conduct peer reviews of test automation code to promote quality, consistency, and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Communicate test execution results, defects, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders during each release cycle.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development for enterprise systems.
- At least two (2) years of experience providing quality assurance and testing support for AWS-based workloads.
- Bachelor’s degree or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience performing manual and automated testing, including defect documentation, issue reproduction, regression testing, and validation.
