This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who are comfortable with visual checks and documentation. Your responsibilities:
- Perform continuous visual checks on products coming off the line, identifying surface flaws, defects, or missing components based on clear visual standards.
- Sort accepted components from rejected materials, ensuring the accurate segregation of non-conforming items.
- Accurately fill out simple qc logs and inspection checklists to record findings hourly or batch-by-batch.
- Collect samples of materials or components at specified intervals for further testing by senior staff.
- Communicate immediately with the production operator or supervisor when recurring quality issues are detected.
location: Austin, TX work hours: Variable
dress code: Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only. No Makeup (base,tinted moisturizer, eye shadow, eyeliner, lipstick or tinted chapstick) No heavy perfumes or cologne (after-shave, scented lotions or excessive deodorant) No false eyelashes or semi-permanent eyelashes Fake nails are allowed, they just cannot be pointy or sharp or long enough to break the gloves No Temporary Hair Dye (Temporary dye or Hair Chalk)
