• Job Field Engineering / Technical We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QC Welding Inspector to support quality assurance and quality control activities for a major onshore pipeline construction project within the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all welding, fabrication, non-destructive testing (NDT), pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities are executed in compliance with project specifications, international codes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect welding and pipeline construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review and verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and welder qualification records.
• Conduct visual inspections of welds and oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.
• Verify material traceability, welding procedures, and welder qualifications.
• Identify quality issues, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, and project quality requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Support quality audits and ensure adherence to HSE policies and safe work practices.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• Experience in Quality Control within the oil and gas industry, preferably in pipeline construction.

• Mandatory Welding Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) certifications.

• Knowledge of API, ASME, ASTM, ISO standards, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.

• Excellent written and spoken English with a strong commitment to HSE and quality standards
