Job title: QC Technician
About the Role The QC Technician will ensure product quality through rigorous QC processes, verify batches meet standards before delivery, and support production data analysis and new product development. The role also promotes EHS and 5S to create a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Control product quality to ensure all products meet quality standards before delivery to customers.
- Review production history to confirm old and new batches have consistent quality.
- Record daily quantities of good and non‑conforming products in QC notebooks and input data into the system for traceability.
- Request and review changes of product standards with the Tech Department to ensure powders meet customer specifications.
- Monitor downtime of Extruder and micronized machines to improve production productivity.
- Promote EHS practices; follow and support EHS KPI.
- Improve QC accuracy to minimize SSPL and reduce misinterpretation‑related complaints.
- Ensure retain sample accuracy.
- Coordinate and support new product development activities related to product quality; work with process engineers to achieve first‑lot control.
- Adopt quality protocols and support QC‑related activities.
- Follow housekeeping and 5S standards.
What We're Looking For
- High school graduation; chemical college preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in powder coating industry and QC.
- Responsible for the quality of every complete batch.
- Responsible for EHS and 5S in the work area.
- Able to make decisions to solve nonconforming products.
