QC Supervisor

Job title: QC Supervisor

About the Role Provides day-to-day supervision of the Quality Control department and functions to ensure product quality and Food Safety. This role provides leadership to Syrup Blenders and Quality Control Technicians and supports the QC Manager in ensuring testing, calibration, and inventory processes run smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day supervision of Quality Control department and functions.
• Provide direction to Syrup Blenders and Quality Control Technicians.
• Ensure all syrup, ingredient, and product testing is performed according to guidelines.
• Ensure lab equipment is calibrated according to guidelines.
• Ensure concentrate and raw materials are inventoried accurately.
• Maintain accurate record keeping.
• Fill in for syrup blenders and Quality Control Technicians when necessary.
• Provide back-up for the Quality Control Technician and manage the department in the QC Manager’s absence.
• Responsible for Food Safety where applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Experience supervising Syrup Blenders and QC Technicians and directing QC activities.
• Experience ensuring testing is performed per guidelines and that lab equipment is calibrated.
• Strong inventory management and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to cover for staff and lead the department in the QC Manager’s absence.
• Knowledge of Food Safety practices.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
