Are you a detail-oriented QA Tester with a sharp eye for bugs and a passion for great user experiences? We’re looking for a QA Tester/Reviewer to collaborate remotely with our Canada-based client to test his application, identify issues, and help improve its overall quality and usability. What you will do
- Test the client’s application to identify bugs, errors, and functionality issues.
- Review existing features to ensure they work as expected across different scenarios and user flows.
- Report and document bugs with clear descriptions, screenshots when needed, and detailed steps to reproduce them.
- Test new features and updates before release to make sure they meet quality standards.
- Provide thoughtful feedback on usability and the overall user experience, suggesting practical improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure reported issues are understood, prioritized, and resolved.
- Re-test fixes to confirm issues have been properly addressed and no new problems were introduced.
What you'll need to know
- Proven experience in software or application testing (manual QA).
- 2+ years of experience in QA testing or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to finding and documenting issues.
- Ability to write clear, concise bug reports that developers can easily act on.
- A good understanding of usability and user experience principles.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own testing process, and communicate findings effectively.
- An advanced level of English.
A great plus
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (such as Jira, Trello, or similar).
- Familiarity with testing web and/or mobile applications across different devices and browsers.
- Experience creating test cases, test plans, or QA checklists.
- Exposure to automated testing tools or basic scripting.
