At the core of the role
We are looking for an experienced QA Specialist / Test Analyst who thrives in a complex banking environment and can independently handle testing from analysis to final evaluation. You will work on major projects, applying your knowledge of UML, SQL, as well as Waterfall and Agile methodologies. If you have a strong analytical mindset, speak English fluently, and prefer a combination of working from home with occasional team meetups at the Prague offices, we’d love to get to know you!
Core skills you’ll bring
You have prior experience testing in the banking sector (branch applications, digital channels, back-office applications) and understand common banking products and their purpose.
You can work based on provided analysis and are proficient in Enterprise Architect and UML.
You are comfortable working with both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
You can provide reliable effort estimates for complex tasks.
You actively use JIRA and the Zephyr plugin (specifically regarding test case management, importing, and defect management).
You have a basic knowledge of testing tools for integration, automated, and performance testing (execution phase) – e.g., SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Bruno, Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, etc.
You are familiar with logging tools (PEK, Graylog, Kibana, etc.).
You can independently create complex test data and scenarios.
You have active proficiency in Oracle SQL.
You hold an ISTQB certification or possess knowledge equivalent to the ISTQB Advanced Level.
You can work independently with other team roles (ITAN, DEV, SAR, BAN, etc.) and synthesize available information.
You have active proficiency in English and the ability to communicate independently with international teams.
Advantages: Strong knowledge of the financial domain, particularly banking and banking products, as well as experience delivering complex transformation projects with a focus on product migration.
Czech or Slovak language at an excellent level is essential, and English proficiency.
The impact you'll create
Defining test entry and exit criteria.
Independently creating test scenarios and complex test data.
Defect analysis: analyzing test results and collaborating on the analysis and resolution of defects.
Working independently and collaborating cross-functionally with other team roles (ITAN, DEV, SAR, BAN, etc.).
Utilizing logging tools and test management systems to track and manage testing processes.
