About the Role
- We are looking for a strategic and results-driven QA Manager (Quality Management Systems) to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our group-wide Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring consistent quality, safety, and compliance standards across all divisions.
- Based in Corporate, the ideal candidate will provide functional leadership to all QA & Compliance Officers across the divisions, drive regulatory and accreditation readiness, oversee internal audits and corrective actions, and build a strong culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS) Development & Oversight:
- Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a group-wide Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and applicable healthcare quality standards.
- Develop, review, and control quality policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, forms, and other QMS documentation across all divisions.
- Ensure quality standards and procedures are applied consistently across all divisions and business units.
Leadership of QA & Compliance Officers:
- Provide functional leadership, direction, and supervision to QA & Compliance Officers across all divisions.
- Set clear performance objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support the training and professional development of the QA & Compliance team.
- Coordinate divisional quality and compliance activities to ensure a unified, standardized approach across the organization.
Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards across all divisions.
- Lead preparation for regulatory inspections, external audits, certifications, and accreditation assessments.
- Maintain an up-to-date register of regulatory requirements, licenses, and permits, and ensure timely renewals across all divisions.
Internal Audits & Corrective Actions:
- Develop and execute an annual group-wide internal audit and inspection plan.
- Oversee audits conducted by divisional QA & Compliance Officers and review audit findings, reports, and recommendations.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented, tracked, and verified for effectiveness within agreed timelines.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:
- Oversee incident, non-conformance, and complaint reporting systems, and ensure root cause analyses are conducted promptly.
- Identify quality and compliance risks across divisions and drive appropriate mitigation measures.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, client and patient safety, and operational efficiency.
Quality Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Define, monitor, and analyze key quality and compliance indicators across all divisions.
- Prepare and present periodic quality and compliance reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and recommendations.
- Coordinate management review meetings to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the QMS.
Training & Quality Culture:

Develop and deliver quality and compliance training programmes for staff across all divisions.

Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Perform other quality and compliance-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Quality Management, Health Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.

Minimum of seven (7) years' relevant experience in quality assurance, quality management systems, or regulatory compliance, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Experience managing quality and compliance across multiple sites or divisions, preferably in a healthcare environment, is highly desirable.

Professional certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) would be advantageous.
