About the Role VALCE T@lent Solutions is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for its Client Engineering team in Guadalajara. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for web applications and cloud-ready REST APIs, with emphasis on accessibility compliance (ADA and WCAG) and high-quality software delivery. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for web applications and REST APIs using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber.
- Lead multiple test paths, oversee coding, testing, and review processes for unit and integration tests.
- Ensure QA across codebases and alignment with development standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation with CI/CD and other tools.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (ADA and WCAG) in web applications.
- Build cloud-ready REST APIs following industry best practices.
- Work in a hybrid work environment in Guadalajara with the Client Engineering team. What We're Looking For
- Strong Java, Selenium, TDD/BDD API automation, Playwright, Cucumber, and Microservices based automation.
- Good understanding of JavaScript and its quirks.
- Proven experience building ADA and WCAG compliant web applications.
- Experience overseeing the coding, testing, and review process for unit and integration testing.
- Experience in building automation frameworks, acceptance and integration test automation scripts, and integrating with other tools.
- Ability to lead multiple test paths simultaneously and ensure quality of codebases.
