Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in performance testing, load testing, security testing, and vulnerability assessment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software performance testing, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role requires a detail oriented professional who can analyze complex systems and provide actionable insights to enhance performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for performance, load, and security testing.
• Conduct thorough performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
• Perform load testing to ensure applications can handle expected user traffic and data volume.
• Execute security testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing processes into the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on application performance and security vulnerabilities.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices in automation and performance testing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in software performance testing with a strong understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Expertise in load testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong knowledge of security testing practices and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and providing remediation recommendations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) for test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud based testing environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Certifications in relevant testing frameworks or methodologies (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10 15 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on performance and security testing.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering high quality software products.
