Job title: QA Automation Engineer
About the Role The QA Automation Engineer will help ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications by building and executing automated tests using Playwright, and by aligning with our standard testing processes across projects.
What You'll Do
- Understands and follows the testing process defined within the organization.
- Ensures conformance to the processes within the project.
- Reviews the requirements documents and develops defect reports or posts issues using the bug tracking tool.
- Analyzes the requirements.
- Creates and documents test cases.
- Follows up on issues and bugs to improve the quality of the customer deliverables.
- Ensures closing fixed issues and bugs on the bug tracking system.
- Reports testing versus schedule with the QE TL/QE PM and PM.
- Adds/updates work products in quality repository (Reports, Test Cases, Test Scripts, UAT, Mails…etc.).
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for end-to-end web application automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions) for integrating automated tests.
