Job title: QA Analyst (Contract)
About the Role Smarkets is seeking a QA Analyst (Contract) to help prepare our platforms for launch and growth in Ireland. You’ll test core journeys, surface bugs and usability issues, and deliver actionable insights to move our product to full market readiness while ensuring a localised, compliant Irish experience.
What You'll Do
- Perform functional and usability testing of the Irish user experience across web and mobile apps.
- Test core customer journeys: Landing → Sign-up; Sign-up → Login; Promo Opt-in → Deposit; Deposit → Bet Placement → Cash out → Withdrawal.
- Review Customer Support and KYC flows to ensure smooth experiences.
- Document all issues with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and recordings where applicable.
- Participate in live testing sessions with the Product team.
- Provide a full QA report, including usability feedback, bug reports, and recommendations for improvement.
- Verify fixes and validate product readiness.
What We're Looking For
- Must be physically located in Ireland.
- No existing Smarkets/SBK account.
- Detail-oriented QA testing experience for web and mobile platforms (gaming or betting a plus).
- Analytical thinker with strong documentation skills.
- Comfortable participating in remote live walkthroughs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Approx. 18 hours over 6 weeks (around 3 hours per week).
- Hourly rate to be agreed.
- Remote role with flexible working hours.
