About the Role As part of our Security Operations team, we are seeking a Python Developer to build automation that thwarts threats, analyzes data, and helps teams work smarter from anywhere. This role focuses on automation and process optimization to improve operational efficiency while enabling rapid response to security events.
What You'll Do
- Develop automation solutions using Python to strengthen security operations and improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and create proof-of-concept projects that accelerate threat detection and response.
- Collaborate with stakeholders involved in detecting phishing, brand abuse, and other cyber threats, leveraging Python and modern automation technologies.
- Analyze data to support detection, investigation, and incident response.
- Work with APIs and automation frameworks to integrate tools and systems.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–3 years of hands-on Python development experience.
- 1–2 years of experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security operations environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with APIs and automation frameworks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English (written and verbal).
