About the Role The Purchasing Services team at Continental works on supplier management for external services and components, focusing on strategic sourcing, contracting, and maintaining long-term supplier partnerships. The role also acts as a key interface between internal stakeholders, customers, and external service providers to ensure service levels and overall value.

What You'll Do

• Lead supplier management of external services and components, ensuring cost competitiveness, service quality, risk mitigation and long-term partnerships.
• Act as a key interface between internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, finance, legal), our customers and external service providers.
• Close collaboration with PUR organization and maintain a service-level focus to ensure agreed service levels are delivered consistently.
• Drive contracting and supplier performance management, including negotiations and reporting using procurement systems.
• Maintain ownership mindset and proactively manage supplier relationships to support strategic objectives.

What We're Looking For

• Commercial apprenticeship with professional experience or academic degree in business administration, marketing or similar qualification.
• Several years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement of services, ideally in an industrial, manufacturing, or multinational environment.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing processes.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Structured, analytical, and proactive working style with a high level of ownership, reliability, and decision-making capability.
• Very good communication skills in an international environment.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional language: German.
• Confident use of procurement systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
