• Experience: 10 years of experience in similar area.

Main responsibilities

• Purchasing Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for purchasing of indirect Materials with respect to central purchasing guidelines

• Negotiation and contract management for local related categories in close cooperation with central purchasing

• Develop and deploy generic sourcing strategy by indirect material group (preferred suppliers, terms & conditions, statement of work) for local suppliers in close co-operation with central purchasing Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct negotiations, and manage supplier relationships.

• In charge of overall SM Business Plan; contribution to achievement including regular monitoring and control and follow up of required actions.

• Compliance Responsibilities

• Policy Adherence:

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant company processes

• Ensuring compliance with the rules and procedure and local legislation

• Supplier Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure supplier adherence to contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.

• Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement of indirect materials.

• Leadership Responsibilities

• Team Management:

• Lead and manage the indirect material purchasing team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

• Act as a liaison between purcahsing and other departments to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing function.

• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance purchasing efficiency and effectiveness

• Continuously improve capabilities of assigned staff to meet expectations in terms of effectiveness and efficiency, as well as establish working environment that motivates the staff to utilise their full capability

• Financial Responsibilities

• Budget Management:

• Manage the budget for local indirect materials purchasing.

• Ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.

• Cost Reduction Initiatives:

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives.

• Financial Reporting:

• Contribute in the preparation of the financial reports related to local indirect material purchasing activities.

• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost drivers and support in financial optimization.
