Job title: Purchasing Manager
About the Role Responsible for all purchasing pre- and post-launch activity focusing on the program team, supplier and customer requirements. This role integrates data and quote management, contract negotiations, tool timing, CR/CN process flow, profile management and ensures complete launch readiness. The position requires leadership within the group to achieve strategic goals in cost and delivery performance.
What You'll Do
- Direct commodity buying responsibility as well as directly providing leadership within the group
- Extensive work experience and judgment required to plan and accomplish strategic goals
- Negotiates long term agreements and yearly savings in line with expectations
- Develops commodity strategies to achieve results
- Understanding of commercial terms and total cost management concepts required

- Strong negotiating principles and skills
- Minimum of 5 years of commodity or relevant purchasing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or equivalent experience
- Ability to align with and influence internal program teams, suppliers, and customers
- Ensures accurate data management to meet program timelines
- Familiarity with commercial terms and performance-to-target concepts
- Results-driven and proactive approach from program inception through launch
- Communication verbal and written and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lead within a team
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
