About this role
Key Responsibilities

Provide support to the Purchasing team with the department’s administrative and
-
operational tasks.

Assist with the management and follow-up of purchase orders from the different hotel
-
departments.
-
Support the sourcing, identification and updating of suppliers and products.
-
Assist with requesting and comparing quotations and offers.
-
Support the creation, follow-up and updating of purchase orders.
-
Assist with order tracking to ensure that deliveries are made on time and according to
-
requirements.
-
Support the receipt, review and organization of delivery notes, invoices and purchasing
-
documentation.
-
Collaborate with the Finance Department in the review and reconciliation of invoices and
-
purchase orders.
-
Assist with monitoring and updating supplier prices, product references and terms and
-
conditions.
-
Support communication and follow-up with suppliers regarding issues, delays or
-
discrepancies in orders.
-
Collaborate with the Warehouse and different hotel departments to understand and
-
manage their procurement needs.
-
Assist with stock control and the identification of replenishment needs.
-
Keep the Purchasing Department’s databases, files and tools up to date.
-
Support the preparation of purchasing reports and analysis, according to the department’s
-
needs.
-
Assist in monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for improvement in the purchasing
-
process.

Participate in other Purchasing projects and tasks according to the department’s
-
operational needs

Profile & Skills
-
Currently studying Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Tourism, Hospitality
-
Management, Logistics, Purchasing or a related field.
-
Genuine interest in developing a career in Purchasing and Procurement within the
-
hospitality industry.
-
Positive attitude, flexibility and strong willingness to learn.
-
Spanish and English required; additional languages are a plus.
-
Availability: 6 to 8 months
