Purchasing Business Process Leader
Responsibilities
- Own key Purchasing and Supplier Quality processes and ensure their effective implementation across the organization
- Maintain, update, and improve operating procedures, instructions, standards, and process documentation
- Ensure consistency of workflows and SAP data across plants and regions
- Organize regular process reviews and follow up on improvement action plans
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the development and improvement of Purchasing digital tools and systems
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Purchasing digital tools and systems, including the TEMPO Supplier Portal (IVALUA solution), Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, and other Purchasing applications
- Coordinate system improvements, bug fixes, and enhancements with IT and the Purchasing Digitalization team
- Manage access rights, workflow ownership, and user communities across tools such as SharePoint and Teams
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Office, and IT teams and support cross-Business Group alignment
- Provide global training and user support and create and maintain user guides and training materials
Requirements

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Purchasing or a related Purchasing environment

Strong understanding of Purchasing processes and workflows

Experience with process ownership, process improvement, or business process management

Strong knowledge of SAP or another ERP system

Good knowledge of Power BI and MS Excel

Experience with digital tools and systems used in Purchasing

Knowledge of supplier portals, such as Ivalua, is an advantage
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify opportunities for process optimization
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
-
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
-
Open-minded, proactive, confident in communication, and able to explain processes and train users effectively
-
Automotive experience is an advantage but not a requirement
