About this role
Job Description
- Obtains competitive quotations for hotel requirements and supports the selection of the best products and services by sharing suitable suppliers and offers with the relevant Managers.
- Conducts market research on a regular basis and obtains a minimum of three quotations whenever applicable, presenting findings and comparisons to Managers.
- Ensures that supplier information, price lists, contact details, and related records are accurate and up to date.
- Actively uses the purchasing/procurement system to create, process, follow up, and allocate purchase orders.
- Follows up on purchase requests and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery in line with operational requirements.
- Supports the evaluation of suppliers in terms of price, quality, service standards, delivery times, and compliance with hotel requirements.
