About the Role PUMA Legal operates in an international environment, providing business-minded legal advice across multiple disciplines to safeguard PUMA’s path to innovation while keeping the brand uniquely PUMA. The team covers Intellectual Property, Ethics & Compliance, Data Protection, Labor, Competition, Tax Law, and General Corporate/Contractual matters, with a focus on practical, feasible solutions.
What You'll Do
- Provide legal guidance across IP, Ethics & Compliance, Data Protection, Labor Law, Competition and Tax Law, as well as general corporate and contractual matters.
- Safeguard PUMA’s intellectual property and defend its rights while respecting others’ rights.
- Draft and structure agreements with external partners to enable business initiatives and create the right legal framework.
- Contribute to PUMA Legal’s evolution into a digital legal team, modernizing procedures and workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal clients across multiple locations and jurisdictions.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified lawyer with expertise in Intellectual Property, Ethics & Compliance, Data Protection, Labor Law, Competition, Tax Law, and general corporate matters.
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment with diverse legal systems and cross-functional teams.
- Business-minded mindset with the ability to translate legal risk into feasible, commercially viable solutions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and client-facing skills; proactive in building trusted internal partnerships.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments typical of a global sportswear company.
Nice to Have
- Experience with digital transformation of legal processes or working within a digital/legal-tech environment.
- International experience or exposure to multiple jurisdictions.
