Job title: Public Safety Officer
About the Role The University of Saint Francis is seeking a Public Safety Officer in Fort Wayne. The role reports to the Director of Public Safety and helps ensure the university’s Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and commitment to the liberal arts remain central to our educational mission and public identity. The Public Safety Officer is responsible for assisting the Director of Public Safety in advancing the university’s efforts in implementing the new mission statement and strategic plan (Renew 2028).
What You'll Do
- Assist the Director of Public Safety in advancing the university’s mission statement and strategic plan.
- Help maintain the Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and liberal arts tradition at the center of our educational mission and public identity.
- Support daily public safety operations and campus safety initiatives to foster a safe and welcoming environment.
