Our client is the foremost luxury goods company in Nigeria with a diversified portfolio that consists of over 13 of the world's most prestigious luxury brands. Due to expansion they are looking to fill the role of Public Relations Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute PR and corporate communications plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with media houses, journalists and influencers.
- Prepare press releases, media statements and corporate announcements.
- Coordinate media coverage for events, launches and brand activities.
- Manage corporate messaging and external communications.
- Support crisis and reputation-management initiatives.
- Develop internal newsletters and employee communications.
- Coordinate interviews, press briefings and media events.
- Monitor media coverage and provide reputation reports.
- Identify PR opportunities to strengthen brand visibility.
- Ensure communications align with luxury brand standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
- 4–6 years' PR/corporate communications experience.
- Experience in luxury retail, fashion, lifestyle, hospitality or premium brands is preferred.
- Strong media relationships.
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of brand reputation management.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
