About the Role Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Public Health Representative III in the Department of Emergency Medicine within the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS). Under supervision of Emergency Medicine and the New Jersey Poison Information and Education System (NJPIES), the Public Health Representative III participates in the development, administration and implementation of public health initiatives and poison information education activities. What You'll Do
- Participate in the development, administration and implementation of public health initiatives and NJPIES education in collaboration with Emergency Medicine and NJPIES.
- Support coordination, data collection and reporting to inform program decisions and improve patient care and community health.
- Assist in outreach, education and communication efforts with stakeholders and the public.
- Help maintain adherence to policies, procedures and best practices within NJPIES and the department. What We're Looking For
- Interest or experience in public health, emergency medicine, or poison information systems.
- Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and follow established protocols.
