About the Role This part-time Sales Associate role at Michael Kors in Deer Park, NY supports sales goals, delivers elevated customer service, and helps maintain store operations to ensure a premier luxury shopping experience. You will build client relationships, demonstrate merchandise knowledge, and manage post-sale details such as shipping and alterations when applicable.
What You'll Do
- Meet sales goals and maximize performance through excellent service and product knowledge.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of merchandise and assist customers with fitting, styling, and selections.
- After closing a sale, monitor details including shipping, alterations (if applicable), and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Comply with all sales-related policies and procedures; stay informed on fashion industry trends.
- Provide the highest level of customer service and build/maintain repeat clientele using a client book.
- Resolve client problems and complaints quickly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked; assist in inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
- Assist in stock, shipping, receiving protocols and related paperwork; participate in inventories; adhere to POS policies and execute register functions.
- Adhere to work schedule, including time and attendance; participate in training and development as directed by store management.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
- Interest in fashion and awareness of market trends; strong customer service skills and relationship-building ability.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Range: USD 15.00 - 20.00 per hour.
