About the Role Under the supervision of a Neuropsychologist, the Psychometrician administers and interprets neuropsychological tests for adult and geriatric patients. The role emphasizes selecting tests appropriate to age and development and collaborating with the care team to maximize clinical outcomes. What You'll Do
- Administer and score neuropsychological and psychological tests under supervision
- Provide same-day feedback to patients, document results in the EMR with the neuropsychologist, and assist in report writing
- Assist the Neuropsychologist, behavioral neurologist, or geriatrician in patient visit documentation and coordinating with the care team
- Coordinate scheduling with other members of the care team and communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Maintain test materials, update normative data, and assist with research studies as assigned
- Uphold professional boundaries and seek feedback for growth in knowledge of patient dynamics What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Sociology
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and other professionals
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a positive attitude toward impaired patients
- Experience administering and interpreting neuropsychological tests; familiarity with EMR documentation Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $20.69 - $30.00
- Eligibility for Annual Incentive Plan and premium pay such as shift/on-call/holiday where applicable
