Psychiatry Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM)

About the Role The Psychiatry Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is field-based and serves as an on-site resource addressing health care provider questions about patient access and reimbursement for AbbVie Psychiatry products. The FRM builds local payer expertise, educates providers on access tools and program eligibility, and maintains territory relationships to support patient access. What You'll Do

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools and services
• Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution
• Educate on resources available to address access issues
• Provide local expertise regarding national/regional payor policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes
• Liaise with AbbVie's Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility
• Collaborate with AbbVie's Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates
• Report back payer trends related to approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams
• Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory
• Remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant industry experience required
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant therapeutic area with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement; strong territory and account management skills
• Extensive experience educating others on payer processes, coverage requirements, and other access-related situations for specialty medicines
• Strong track record of leadership within current role
• Strong understanding and ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing requirements at the National and Regional level across all settings of care
• Comprehensive understanding of Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamics
• Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the specialty space (Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors and white-bagging, etc.)
• Demonstrated understanding of the rules, regulations and risks associated with provision of reimbursement support services
• Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and how to effectively interact in a compliant fashion
• Valid driver's license with ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements; ability to drive a personal auto or company vehicle
• Essential HCIR credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations within the assigned territory, including background checks, immunizations, fingerprinting, and licenses as required by state/city Compensation & Benefits This posting does not include a disclosed salary range.
