Proxy ENGINEER

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) subject matter expert to design, deploy, and support large-scale DDI infrastructure for Wipro. The role focuses on delivering scalable services and leading infrastructure projects across environments. What You'll Do

• Lead planning, implementation, and support of large-scale DDI infrastructure projects, including physical servers/appliances and software/data migrations.
• Design, deploy, and operationalize DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) infrastructure for new environments, ensuring a consumable and scalable service for internal stakeholders.
• Manage risk assessment and mitigation, addressing headwinds and assessing downstream user/service impacts.
• Communicate effectively across teams, time zones, geographies, and languages; proficiency in English.
• Apply industry-standard project management methodologies, document plans, and govern infrastructure implementations.
• Demonstrate expert-level engineering experience with DDI technologies such as Cygna VitalQIP, AMS & AMM's, EfficientIP, Infoblox, and F5 BIG-IP DNS.
• Work with TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS; leverage automation and scripting (shell, Ansible, Python, JavaScript, JSON, API integration).
• Experience working in an Agile team; familiarity with JIRA is beneficial. What We're Looking For
• 7+ years of experience in DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) and related infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience planning, implementing, and supporting large-scale DDI projects, including migrations.
• Expertise in DDI products: Cygna VitalQIP, AMS & AMM, EfficientIP, Infoblox, F5 BIG-IP DNS.
• Solid understanding of risk management and impact assessment; strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English; ability to work across time zones and geographies.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS; automation/scripting experience advantageous (Shell, Ansible, Python, JavaScript, JSON).
• Agile experience; familiarity with JIRA is beneficial. Nice to Have
• Exposure to multiple DDI platforms and versions; experience with data migrations.
