Responsibilities
- Inspect products at various stages by checking first-piece, in-process, and final items using measuring tools such as calipers and scales.
- Read and interpret customer blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models to compare with physical parts.
- Record measurements, test results, and defect logs into computer databases or ERP systems.
- Identify and report issues by flagging defective parts, writing non-conformance reports, and assisting teams in correcting production errors.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace and ensure testing equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma, technical college diploma, or university degree in a technical field.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years in manufacturing or quality control.
- Attention to detail: Strong ability to detect small defects and follow precise instructions.
- Technical skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with measuring tools.
