This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, strategic, and creative bid professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Proposals Manager, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end bid process, coordinating people, ideas, and technical expertise to produce compelling, compliant, and winning submissions. You’ll work closely with delivery, estimating, commercial, and leadership teams to shape strategy, elevate bid quality, and drive continuous improvement across the work-winning function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete bid lifecycle, from opportunity tracking through to final submission.

• Chair kick-off meetings and coordinate input from delivery, estimating, and management teams.

• Develop winning strategies through document analysis, research, and win/loss workshops.

• Delegate bid deliverables effectively, considering team capability and availability.

• Mentor and guide junior team members and wider project teams on best-practice bid delivery.

• Oversee the finalisation of proposals, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client requirements.

• Manage internal and external resources, including graphics and visualisation support.

• Produce detailed PQQs, EOIs, and mid-bid interview documentation.

• Coordinate full technical reviews and Bond reviews prior to formal issue.

• Track, manage, and report on bid progress, outcomes, and programme adherence.

• Expertise & Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex, high-value bids from start to finish, ideally within the construction or fit-out sector.

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to turn technical detail into persuasive narrative.

• Highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and drive process improvements.

• Collaborative approach, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

• Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire team members and cross-functional contributors.
