About the Role OHB System AG in Bremen is seeking a Project Manager for Future Programs Exploration and Space Safety (m/f/d). You will support the planning and execution of national and international space projects in the Future Programs area, particularly in preparing proposals for implementation projects. Depending on your level of experience, you may independently manage the aforementioned projects/programs and oversee staffing, timelines, budgets, and compliance with quality, schedule, and budget requirements. What You'll Do

• Support in the planning and execution of national and international space projects in the 'Future Programs' area, especially in proposal preparation.
• Depending on experience, independently manage projects/programs.
• Plan projects and proposals with regard to staffing, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage projects with operational responsibility for quality, schedule, and budget requirements where applicable.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate interdisciplinary project and proposal teams (engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, controlling, project office). What We're Looking For
• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or engineering management (ideally mechanical, electrical, industrial, or aerospace engineering).
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in project management; relevant certifications (IPMA, PMI, or equivalent) preferred.
• Broad technical understanding of technical systems.
• Several years of professional experience as a project manager or lead technical engineer in spacecrafts.
• Experience in leading and managing teams; strong interpersonal and communication skills; a team-oriented mindset.
• Quick learner with a passion for exploring new subject areas and technologies.
• Structured, analytical, and efficient work style with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Very good English; German skills are a plus. Nice to Have
