Project Technical Interface Manager

About the Role As the Project Technical Interface Manager in Mumbai, you will manage the technical interfaces within a CBTC-based signalling project, ensuring seamless integration of external interfaces from identification through commissioning. You will collaborate across Project Management, Engineering, Installation and Testing teams and liaise with external contractors to maintain interface matrices, design documents, and the integration strategy, while guiding the interface change process and client acceptance milestones. What You'll Do

• Manage interface specifications and design documents, maintain an interface matrix and integration strategy, and oversee the interface change process to ensure timely client acceptance milestones.
• Provide on-site information and clarifications to the engineering team and coordinate the on-site list of issues with clients and internal teams.
• Supervise and coordinate all external interface-related issues; act as the key contact for interfacing contractors (track, power supply, rolling stock, and communications).
• Establish effective communication channels to resolve interface issues and produce interface-related documentation, including meeting minutes and interface specifications.
• Validate the implementation of interface specifications during system commissioning and carry out site surveys to assess project needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contractors to ensure seamless integration. What We're Looking For
• Engineering degree or equivalent industrial experience.
• 10+ years of experience in system signalling engineering, preferably CBTC-based signalling.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CBTC signalling technology, system design, integration, or commissioning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a system-minded approach.
• Resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to identify critical tasks and ensure timely execution and follow-up.
