Project Supervisor

About the Role Corbion is seeking a Project Supervisor to lead technical and overall supervision of CAPEX industrial projects, ensuring proper definition, specification and validation of engineering solutions and equipment from concept to completion. This role ensures compliance with applicable standards and best practices while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and contractors to maintain alignment with scope, budget and schedule. The position is based in Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, Brazil and reports to the Capital Projects Coordinator. What You'll Do

• Define, validate and detail technical scopes in collaboration with internal customers.
• Define and review equipment sizing and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements, and support drawings and installation documentation.
• Support Change Management (MOC), risk assessments, HAZOP and other safety, quality and regulatory reviews applicable to projects.
• Support procurement by providing technical inputs, clarifications and evaluation of proposals for materials, equipment and services.
• Interface with external engineering firms, suppliers and contractors to clarify requirements and ensure adherence to the approved scope.
• Supervise and monitor field execution (construction, commissioning and start-up), ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, scope, standards and legislation.
• Promote safe execution of all project activities, ensuring safety, environmental and legal requirements are met.
• Identify and support resolution of technical issues, interferences and deviations, escalating critical issues when necessary.
• Support planning and tracking of project progress, providing reliable field-status information, risks, constraints and priorities.
• Support cost and schedule control, including progress measurement, contractor tracking and deviations from baseline.
• Participate in inspections, punch lists, commissioning, start-up support and technical handover to Operations and Maintenance.
• Ensure all project documentation is organized, up-to-date and delivered, including drawings, manuals, certificates and inspection and commissioning records.
• Support continuous improvement of project execution practices, contractor performance and process excellence. What We're Looking For
• Experience leading CAPEX industrial projects with technical leadership and overall supervision.
• Knowledge of standards, regulations and best practices applicable to industrial projects.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and contractors; interface with external engineering firms.
• Strong capability in field supervision (construction, installation, commissioning) and ensuring conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Proactive in safety, environmental and regulatory compliance; experience with risk assessments, MOC and HAZOP.
• Strong planning, scheduling and cost-control skills; ability to provide reliable in-field status and manage deviations.
• Excellent documentation management and handover processes.
