Project Quality Engineer

About the Role Project Quality Engineer to join Alstom Taiwan in the WANDA Turnkey Project dynamic team. This role coordinates and leads quality and safety activities across the project to ensure safety compliance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to Alstom processes. The incumbent will be the interface for project quality across Engineering, Industrial, and Supplier domains and will support customer inspections and deliverables. What You'll Do

• Establish, document, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) and ensure its application during contract execution per contract requirements and Alstom processes.
• Contribute with structured techniques (e.g., FMEA) to the criticality assessment of Alstom’s solutions (system and sub-systems) and services to ensure the right level of safety and quality assurance as well as inspection activities for all identified CTQ (Critical to Quality).
• Lead the quality community across EQ, IQ and SQ; coordinate and synchronize quality activities for the project and ensure awareness of the quality plan and its deliverables.
• Support project audits and approval of supplier quality systems; coordinate customer audits as requested.
• Prepare DFQ gate reviews and follow up related action plans; report quality and safety alerts and manage Non-conformities and Safety issues.
• Ensure safety assessment is correctly implemented and prepare safety authorization; control project processes and deliverables through inspections and audits.
• Manage Change Requests (CR) and assess the financial implications (CoNQ); ensure quality of design changes and their implementation.
• Ensure Return of Experience (REX) is considered in risks and opportunities; own the SPL and synchronize GO Production and First Article Inspection activities across sites.
• Collaborate with IQ, Industrial, SQ and Engineering to establish a customer inspection acceptance criteria booklet; support customer inspections and hand over train/product history book to the customer.
• Support the Quality Manager, Project Manager/Director and Customer Director with the customer satisfaction survey, analysis and action plan; measure and improve project quality performance.
• Facilitate problem solving during project execution (8D, QRQC, REX) and drive corrective and preventive actions; maintain KPIs and progress reporting for continuous improvement. What We're Looking For
• Valid Quality certificate issued by Public Construction Commission of Executive Yuan (「公共工程品質管理人員」證照).
• 5+ years of quality experience in metro projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering with management background.
• Rigor, strong communication, knowledge of quality standards and quality tools.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work across functions.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
