Job title: Project Procurement Manager (PPM)
About the Role You will participate in end-of-contract activities for projects under LRV and Metro platforms. This role also aims to manage general procurement objectives in terms of quality, on-time delivery, cost and meeting client requirements.
What You'll Do
- Manage and coordinate modification requests and related activities with all project stakeholders for projects related to LRV and Metro platforms.
- Review purchase requests and ensure purchase orders are issued on time.
- Analyze and compile data related to Canadian content requirements.
- Apply and support Alstom's procurement rules, processes and tools.
- Present data analyses to project teams and auditors as needed.
- Provide support to project controllers on financial questions and prepare presentations.
- Monitor procurement performance within projects and implement action plans in case of deviations.
- Review and manage supplier QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performance with buyers and materials managers.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in economics, commerce, accounting or finance.
- Bilingual: French and English.
- Less than 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn continuously.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset for collaborations with international partners. In Quebec, French remains the main working language of our company.
